It’s only words
Take your average get-together with a friend: have a drink, go to dinner, to a movie, to a basketball game, or to the Morrison Center. Afterwards, you go some other place for one more drink. It’s a fun time and the conversation doesn’t stall. A nice evening out on the town. How many words do you think you say in total, between the two of you, in a 7 hour period? I’m guessing hundreds. Thousands. So how come one inappropriate word, which takes less than two seconds to utter, has the potential to ruin such a good time?
