Euzkaldunak Member’s Dinner and Elections
When: Saturday, January 28 at 6 PM
Where: Basque Center, 601 Grove Street, Boise
On Saturday, January 28, Euzkaldunak will hold the General Membership Dinner and Board Elections. Cocktails begin at 6:00 PM with dinner being served at 6:30 PM. This is a free dinner to all those members who have paid their 2012 dues and will be hosted by Boiseko Ikastola.
The general meeting begins at 7:30 PM. The agenda will include the financial report for 2011, the Euzkaldunak activities report, the 2011 NABO report, discussion and voting for a capital improvement project, the election of the NABO representative and the election of five Euzkaldunak Board Directors. The five Directors completing their term are Xanti Alcelay, Tere Achabal, Martin Bilbao, Ysabel Bilbao, and Toni Lawson. The NABO representative completing his term is Steve Achabal. We appreciate their commitment and hard work that contributed to the betterment of the Basque Center and the Boise Basque Community.
Reservations are not required for the dinner. However, in the interest of approximating the correct quantities of food, we are asking members to call into the reservation line at (208) 572-0604 or via email with your name and the number in your party. You will not be turned away that night as long as your 2012 membership is paid in full, but it will help the cooking staff to prepare if you call in ahead of time.
To take advantage of our free babysitting service, please call in your children’s names and ages to the reservation line 1 (208) 572-0604 no later than January 25. If you are planning to attend the January members’ dinner and meeting, your dues must be paid by January 15. No membership renewals will be taken at the January dinner.
