The club members gathered at Batik Garden Imperial Buffet in Middletown, RI last Saturday to celebrate Santa Agueda.
NABO winter meeting
RIBC library The 2012 NABO winter meeting will take place at the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco, CA on Saturday February 18th, 2012. RIBC will be represented at the meeting by Ander Caballero and Gorka Ochoa (also Basque language teachers), who will report back to the RIBC board. One of the RIBC goals at the meeting will be to establish relationships with other Basque Clubs/Euskal Etxeak in North America.

Basque classes
Basque Language and Culture classes are underway at the Portsmouth Free Public Library (2658 East Main Rd). Classes meet every Sunday from 1PM to 2:30PM. The classes are free and open to the public. Registration is required. For more information, please e-mail the RIBC at nebasque@aol.com.
