Six degrees of separation (con’t)
Not so long ago, I wrote about degrees of separation and how the way we connect to one another makes me smile.
My friend Esther left for the Basque Country on Saturday, she even called me from Minneapolis in the afternoon to tell me she sat by my coworkers Adam and Jason on the way there from Boise. The next morning, it’s 9 am and I log on to Facebook to see that my sister set out with a group of friends to Ibilaldia (a festival organized every year to help the ikastolak or schools, in Basque). Shortly after, I get a notification that she’s tagged me on one of her pictures. Obviously, Esther is determined to enjoy every single second of her stay in Euskadi: she went straight from the airport to the festival where she run into my sister right away.
It totally made me smile.
