Txikifest and Real Sociedad game this weekend at New York’s Basque Center
This Saturday, June 1, the Basque Center in New York will screen the game Deportivo de la Coruña vs. Real Sociedad in Euzko-Etxea at 3:00 pm. It is the last game of the season and, if they win, Real Sociedad could be in the Champions League next year. (Believe me when I say that this is one of the hardest lines I’ve ever had to write).
And on Sunday, June 1, Txikifest is taking place in NYC at 1:00pm at 240 9th Avenue NYC (bturn 24th & 25th streets). TXIKIFEST is a txakoli fair organized next to Txikito Restaurant. Euzko-Etxea is still looking for Basque Dancers or txistularis for the Txikifest. Send them an email and you may get a free double ticket for your contribution.
