This year’s Gaztemundu program begins on August 31 and will run through September 14th.
Gaztemundu is a Basque Government sponsored program for youth from Basque clubs around the world that includes a two-week stay in Euskadi. Annually the Basque Government chooses themes of interest to Basques in the Diaspora and this year, the program will focus on music and training Basque club musicians so that more clubs can enjoy live music for their dancers or other activities. Fifteen participants have been chosen and include 11 from Argentina, 2 from Chile and 2 from the United States.
