Censored!
Just the other day my friend Philippe was telling me – jokingly I hope – how reading my post made him blush. And this morning my kids’ grandma/insurance agent tells me that she thinks I might get a chuckle out of the fact that State Farm has censored my blog. What? Why? I mean fine, there might be one or two posts close to being R-rated but c’mon, we’re all adults here. My first impulse was to call them up and tell them I’m switching insurance companies. But then I thought it’s probably worse for them if I stayed. I’m sure they’ve been waiting for me to leave since my 5th car accident and 2nd totaled Saab. My mom-in-law even suggested that I didn’t run the last incident through the insurance if I wanted to keep my coverage with State Farm (I hit the nanny’s car backing out from my garage two seconds after looking at it).
So screw it, I’m staying. Besides, they can censor me but they won’t shut me up.

so the first thought I had is how did they get to your blog and why on earth would they care what somebody blogs and how did your mother-in-law find out that your blog is censured…questions…questions…Really strange!

I’m so happy to see your new name! I saw you tried to Skype, but I couldn’t answer.
Kathy likes to get on the blog once in a while, so my guess is that she tried yesterday and found out it was blocked. I’m not sure how State Farm decides what’s allowed on their intranet and what’s not, probably some type of security software, as a friend of mine just told me.

Am I allowed to say “FUCK STATE FARM”? Since they won’t be able to read it anyway. I can always say it in French too, if you want… And they might try to censor you, yeah, right, but no one, I mean NO ONE, can shut you up.

If you think hard, there are ways.
