Too Much Information

Google… Dude, you can find all kinds of things just by googling a name: pictures, videos, news articles, blogs, national identification numbers, DUIs, arrest records, affiliations to social networks you’d never heard about, books someone wrote, movies someone stars in, addresses, phone numbers, how much money was donated to some candidate or another. Sometimes I google a name and I feel like the biggest stalker ever. I find out stuff about people and I get jealous of the things I learn: how do they dare have connections I knew nothing about to people I haven’t met and groups I don’t belong to? Then I pause, think about how stupid it all sounds (is), close my Mac and go to bed. Tomorrow I have to get up early.
