I heard it on KBOI…

If you live in the US, you’ve probably thought about it at some point or another: How would you react if you found yourself in the middle of a shooting rampage?

Wonder no more. The City of Houston has released a video designed to teach people how to react during a workplace shooting by emphasizing a three-word mantra: run, hide, fight.

Is it just me or does anybody else cringe at the thought of a video of this nature being necessary in our society? Here, watch a video with instructions in case of a fire, another one that shows you what to do during a flood, oh, and let’s not forget this one to help protect yourself against a ranging psycho with semi-automatic rifles and a million cases of ammunition – bought legally, of course.

This is the US after all. God forbid you take a sip of alcohol before you reach 21, bad teenager! But hey, you want to spend thousands of dollars buying weapons? No problem, we will never infringe on the right to bear arms. Especially now that we have a video to help you avoid being hit by 6,000 rounds of ammunition.

Thank you. I couldn’t agree more!

The NRA needs to pull its head out, on the issue of assault weapons. No one HUNTS with them — except lunatic mass murderers!

And their mantra: “Guns don’t kill people. People kill people.” Oh pullleeease.

People who want to kill people, but have don’t have access to these kinds of guns (weapons of mass destruction!), rarely try to take on a crowd, if it means actually having to fight, rather than simply doing a “point and click.”

It’s only that rapid-fire gun that allows them to kill, again and again.

How many stories do we hear of knife-toting crazies being able to murder large groups of people?

No, it’s only when they feel they have the absolute power of an assault weapon, that these cowards emerge, to act out their sick fantasies.
