Basque cooking workshop and dinner in Middletown, RI on Saturday, Sept. 29
On Saturday September 29, at 4:00 pm, Ismael Biurrun “Napa” will hold a Basque Cooking workshop at the Knights of Columbus, Valley Road in Middletown, RI. After preparing a lovely dinner attendees will enjoy their meal together.
Not interested in learning to cook but would like to have a delicious Basque Dinner? Club members are welcome to attend just the dinner portion of the workshop beginning at 6pm. There will be a cash bar.
The cost for either portion is $20 per person. Pre-registration is required and you must register by Monday, September 24, at nebasque@aol.com.
Before becoming a Jai-Alai player, Ismael studied and worked as a chef in the Basque Country. Ismael holds a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism with a specialty in cooking by the accredited Ibialde School in Navarra. He has worked as a chef in the Alhambra Restaurant, The Hotel Restaurante Iratxe in Estella/Lizarra, the Universidad Pública de Navarra and the Herriko Taberna of Iruña.
