A Basque in Boise

Basque exchange student needs a host family for the 2016/2017 school year

Leire, a 15 old girl from the Basque Country, is looking to be placed with a host family for the 2016-2017 school year. Angie Day, a local coordinator for the non-profit exchange organization Council on International Educational Exchange, is helping her with the process.

Leire says:

Hello my name is Leire. I am a cheerful girl and I love laughing. I grew up in a small apartment with my mother, father and brother. I am the youngest. I love going shopping with my mother, playing basketball with my friends and dance. I would like to join a basketball or cheerleading team. I have stayed with a host family in Florida during two summers. I am a talkative person but I am afraid of pets. I am looking forward to meet and learn about my host family culture.

If you would like more information on Leire, please contact Angie Day at angie@cieetreasurevalley.org, or 208-409-2868.

I am interested. I live in Southeast Texas. There are many opportunities here.
