“Zuretzako” screening at BSU on February 22
Those of you who missed Javi Zubizarreta’s latest movie premier last August at the Egyptian theater in Boise – or if you’d like to watch it a second time on the big screen – make sure to mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 22.
“Zuretzako” (For You), will be screened in the Simplot Ballroom at Boise State University Student Union from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. After the movie there will be a discussion with the movie’s director as well as Dr. Joseba Gabilondo, from Michigan State. He is a Professor of Modern Languages who has done research on Basque cinema. The Basque government is financing his trip to Boise as part of the celebration of the International Day of the Mother Language.
For more information, contact Dave Lachiondo, Director of the Basque Studies Program at BSU.
